Responsibilities
The FMCG team manages businesses within Food & Beverages, Health & Wellness, Home Care & Cleaning, and Flowers. The team is responsible for identifying, onboarding, and growing new merchants, as well as creating long-term strategies to develop existing businesses on TikTok Shop.
As an Acquisition & Development Manager, your role involves finding and convincing new clients to join us, as well as strategically growing their TikTok Shop accounts. You will work in a fast-paced environment, aiming to acquire new clients, add products, and increase sales. Your persuasive skills will help explain the platform's benefits to clients and ensure a smooth onboarding process. Strong analytical skills will support their sales growth. Resilience and target-driven mindset are essential to meet ambitious goals and grow our business.
* Recruit & manage FMCG sellers using the new book of business; outreach via leads list, lead pitching, and onboarding.
* Craft persuasive pitches highlighting the benefits of our platform tailored to potential clients.
* Define, launch, and execute go-to-market strategies for new sellers.
* Negotiate deals based on campaigns or seasonality, and secure first-to-market launches.
* Collaborate with internal teams (creator, logistics, legal, governance, campaigns, marketing) to streamline onboarding processes.
* Support sellers in growing sales through key channels like live, video, and shop tab.
* Stay updated on trends and ensure relevant brands are included in the pipeline.
* Adopt an entrepreneurial approach to define initiatives that drive growth and competitive advantage, and optimize team processes.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
* Ability to handle objections and quickly learn new platforms or products.
* Experience in e-commerce.
* Strong data analytics skills.
* Bachelor's degree in finance, business, marketing, or related field from a reputable university.
Preferred Qualifications
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Experience as a Business Development, Acquisition, or Account Manager, especially in brand acquisition and onboarding.
* UK market experience.
* Proven ability to build processes from scratch.
* Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
