Sales Ledger Assistant (Temporary – 5 Weeks)Colchester (Free Parking Available)35 hours per weekStart Date: Immediate – starting next weekWe are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sales Ledger Assistant to join our client on a temporary basis for a period of 5 weeks. This is an excellent opportunity to support a busy finance team and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:
* Raising and processing sales invoices accurately and in a timely manner
* Allocating incoming payments and reconciling customer accounts
* Chasing outstanding debt via phone and email
* Investigating and resolving invoice queries
* Maintaining accurate records and supporting month-end processes
Requirements:
* Previous experience in an accounts role
* Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
* Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
