In this role, the successful Welder/Fabricator/Fitter or similar will be responsible for performing MIG Welding on a variety of materials, predominately sheet metal. On top of this, you will also be responsible for fabricating and assembling components for trucks and trailers. In addition, you will also be responsible for carrying out quality checks on finished works. Finally, you will be responsible for working both as part of a team and autonomously to meet production deadlines.
The ideal Welder/Fabricator or similar will have a background within the sheet metal industry. To further this, you will also have a knowledge and previous working experience of the MIG welding techniques. In addition, you will also have the ability to understand and interpret technical drawings. On top of this, you will be happy to work both autonomously as well as part of a team. Finally, you will hold a full, valid UK drivers license.
The Role:
* Fabricating and assembling structural components of a wide variety of truck and trailer parts
* Keeping accurate technical documentation of any projects worked
* Taking part in product, planning and development meetings
The Person:
* Have a background within the sheet metal industry
* Previous working experience of MIG welding
* Hold a full, valid UK driver's license
