About the role
As a Workshop Technician for Electrical you will support students by ensuring that learning environments are safe and secure. You will be responsible for ensuring equipment is ready and available for the delivery of learning as required for a specific learning programme.
Main Responsibilities:
* Supporting staff and students in the college environment, both workshops and classrooms.
* Carry out risk assessments associated with workshop practices, equipment and maintain full records
* Attend training and development as required
* Maintain workshops and equipment to a high standard in line with a healthy and safe environment
* Maintain stock levels and keep records, using the college on-line procurement system.
From time-to-time these responsibilities may be reviewed so that they evolve as part of the college's strategic growth and success. You may also be required to take on other tasks related to the job to support the College in the delivery of its strategic aims, without changing the role's main purpose.
