The Role
We are looking for an experienced and proactive
SEO Executive
to join our team at our Dorking head office. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for overseeing the SEO management and performance of a portfolio of clients, ensuring strategies are effective, data-driven, and aligned with wider marketing objectives.
A core part of this role is ownership of
overall company client SEO achievement
. We are the only agency to offer a

, and you will be responsible for ensuring these guarantees are consistently met through strong strategy, execution, and performance monitoring.
You will act as a key point of contact internally, managing multiple requests, solving problems, and working closely with stakeholders across the business. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment and is confident managing priorities under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
* Take full ownership of overall client SEO achievement across the company
* Ensure all guaranteed SEO outcomes are delivered and maintained
* Oversee and manage the SEO performance of multiple client accounts
* Develop, implement, and refine SEO strategies to drive measurable results
* Monitor rankings, traffic, and performance metrics, providing clear insights and recommendations
* Present monthly SEO performance data and achievement figures in weekly management meetings
* Handle SEO-related queries from internal stakeholders and manage expectations effectively
* Provide ongoing SEO support to the sales team
* Present and train SEO processes, rules, and best practices to account managers within the sales department
* Work closely with other departments to ensure SEO strategies are understood, aligned, and delivered effectively
* Manage upwards by clearly communicating performance, challenges, and opportunities
* Proactively identify issues and opportunities, taking ownership of problem-solving
* Manage multiple requests simultaneously while maintaining high standards of delivery
* Stay up to date with SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices
* Attend industry conferences and events, including BrightonSEO
Required Experience & Skills
* Minimum of
2 years' SEO experience within a digital marketing agency
* Strong understanding of technical, on-page, and off-page SEO
* Proven experience managing SEO performance for multiple clients
* Confident using SEO tools, including:
* SEMrush
* Screaming Frog
* AWR Cloud
* Google Sheets
* Strong spreadsheet and data analysis skills
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
* Strong problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach
* Comfortable dealing with key stakeholders and handling internal queries
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* A collaborative team player with a positive attitude
