Role: Sustainability & Customer Quality Coordinator Location: Keighley,West Yorkshire (On-site) Report To: Quality Manager About Client: Our Client is a long-standing UK Engineering business, specialising in high volume precision parts used by major brands across the globe. They are know to be stable, growing and big on quality and continuous improvement. They are seeking a Sustainability/ Customer Quality Coordinator to join their teams in West Yorkshire. Responsibilities of the Sustainability/ Customer Quality Coordinator; Ensuring ethical and responsible sourcing across the supply chain with a focus on human rights, environments stewardship and supplier compliance with international standards. Supporting export sales by ensuring alignment with the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and other relevant regulatory frameworks. Driving the organisations Net Zero strategy, including the identification and reduction of carbon. Your Task will be to Provide Information to Support; CSR for sustainability, CCF (Corporate Carbon Footprint), PCF Product Carbon Foot print), ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance), CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive), CBAM (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism) & ESOS (Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme). To assist at group level with all stakeholders involved in customer specific requirements. To assist Quality Engineers with customers specific requirement for NPI, projects and feasibility studies. Essential Requirements: Carbon literate Maths A level ISO 14065 and ISO 14066 competence and verification requirements Experience working in CBAM Track record in sustainability working in the whole supply chain Good interpersonal and team building skills Desired Requirements: Engineering Degree/ Engineering qualification in Automotive core tools Quality Engineering experience Carbon footprint qualification methods ISO 14067 (Quantifying and Reporting the Carbon Footprint) ISO 14040/ 14044 (Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) principles) Verification and validation techniques 8d, 5 why and ishikawa problem solving methods ESOS, CSRD, NPI, NPO, CCF, PCF, feasability and capability studies
