Senior Residential Support Worker / Team Leader – Children’s Residential (EBD)

Reporting to the Deputy Manager / Registered Manager
Role purpose
This is a hands‑on Senior (Team Leader) role supporting children and young people with EBD. You’ll help create a safe, structured environment, lead shifts with confidence, and guide the team to deliver consistent, child‑centred care and safeguarding practice.
What you’ll be doing
* Leading shifts and supporting the running of the home day‑to‑day
* Acting as a positive role model for young people and colleagues
* Supporting newer staff and promoting best practice
* Contributing to care planning, routines, and positive outcomes
* Maintaining high standards around safeguarding, paperwork, and professional conduct
Pay, shifts and extras
* £16 per hour
* Sleep‑ins paid at £65 each (c.10 per month)
* £100 per month attendance bonus
* 2 on / 4 off shift pattern (condensed shifts)
* Overtime available at 1.3x hourly rate
* Potential take‑home: £39,300
Qualification required
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent). Level 3 Health and Social Care is not deemed equivalent for this post.
