Work collaboratively as part of a committed team delivering an outstanding service. Assist the support team in putting customers first and empowering them to achieve their goals and aspirations. Undertake a range of tasks that contribute to the safe and effective delivery of day-to-day service.

Role Profile
Support Customers
* We use Psychologically Informed approaches and Trauma Informed Care principles to support customers to make positive choices, develop new ways of thinking and take steps towards independence.
* Assist in planning and delivering personalised support and move-on plans.
* Understand risk management and assist the team with regular reviews of support and risk.
* Inspire and motivate customers to meet outcomes and develop life skills.
* Assist with day-to-day support and tenancy-related matters.
* Identify opportunities for employment, education and training and support access to them.
* Signpost customers to external support services, such as food banks and community resources.
* Support customers to be tenancy ready and financially independent through budgeting and income maximisation.
* Support healthcare needs and liaison with healthcare professionals.
* Support self-management of medication following Riverside\'s procedures.
* Maintain clear, accurate records on the appropriate digital platform.
* Assist in promoting customer involvement and delivering group work sessions.
Deliver a Support Service
* Support the delivery of the referral process for new customers.
* Contribute to housing management services, including income collection and tenancy-related support.
* Maintain a safe environment; report repairs or health and safety concerns.
* Clean and prepare customer rooms as appropriate.
* Manage difficult situations with sensitivity while balancing individual needs and service safety.
* Follow safeguarding procedures and escalate risks appropriately.
* Maintain local partnerships for a holistic range of support for customers.
* Carry out day-to-day administration and operational duties.
* Maintain financial administration systems including rent accounts, invoices, petty cash and banking.
* Assist in collating and submitting information returns on funding, health, safety and performance.
* Act as point of contact on the phone and reception, handling a range of enquiries.
Other Information
* Flexible hours may be required to meet customer and business needs.
* Use the Lone Worker system as necessary.
* Ensure customers are safe and duties align with Riverside policies (health & safety, safeguarding, dignity at work, GDPR, cash handling, etc.).
* Work in line with Riverside\'s values – “Our Riverside Way”.
* Attend team meetings, supervision and reflection sessions.
* Undertake regular training and development.
* May be required to undertake additional duties with your Line Manager\'s agreement.

* Personal lived experience of homelessness, rough sleeping, mental health issues or substance misuse.
