Nursery Nurse / Room Leader – Watford (WD17 4LA)

Key Responsibilities
* Support children from 3 months to pre‑school age in a safe, inclusive, and joyful environment.
* Bring energy, creativity and warmth to daily activities, encouraging exploration and learning.
* Run the room day‑to‑day as a Room Leader, including planning, organising activities and maintaining a child‑friendly setting.
* Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families and colleagues, and contribute to a warm, inclusive atmosphere.
* Observe and record children’s progress and plan activities in line with the EYFS framework.
Salary and Working Hours
* Nursery Nurse £29,640 per annum (up to).
* Room Leader £31,262 per annum (up to).
* Full‑time: 40 hours per week.
* Job shares: 2–3 days a week.
* Part‑time: 20 hours per week.
* Supply roles available for work/life balance.
Qualifications & Experience
* NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent.
* Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS and ability to plan activities using the EYFS framework.
* Experience of planning, observation and keeping records when caring for nursery‑aged children.
* Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and meeting their needs.
* Completed Enhanced DBS check.
