Become part of this world and make a difference with us. https://www.weareams.com/ The Role The player-coach role takes a leadership approach that combines direct involvement in tasks with the responsibilities of guiding and mentoring the Sourcing team. It involves a hands-on style where the Player Coach will actively work alongside the team whilst providing direction, support, and coaching. You will work with the team to ensure an efficient and flexible support service is provided. You will be a point of contact to the team; dealing with queries relating to the sourcing function, taking responsibility for the resolution of those queries to a satisfactory conclusion and dealing with escalation of issues. You will also participate in sourcing activities, and take ownership of your own list of requisitions. This role is a blend between a Team Lead and Principal Sourcing Specialist. Key Accountabilities What you'll be doing: • You will Source (identify) active and passive candidates where required utilising different channels (e.g. professional social networks, client database, job board databases) and following Channel Activation Matrices or other directions as appropriate • Managing and developing a diverse sourcing team • Training, coaching & advising your team to build its technical and strategic capability • Recognizing and rewarding growth, building team engagement • Playing a positive role model, proactively leading the team to think strategically and adapt to changes and new initiatives. • You will develop an expert level of understanding of the client's business, strategy and competitors and an high overall sector understanding • Providing support to the team to develop targeted sourcing plans, ensuring they can bring insights driven solutions to recruitment challenges. • Maintaining accuracy in reporting to drive accountability, manage capacity and identify areas of improvement. Recognizing core trends that might drive change. • Partnering with recruiters to drive collaboration, share challenges and ensure robust resolution plan is implemented. • Work with the Sourcing Manager and Team Leads to continually identify ways to improve the service delivery, driving a culture of continuous improvement and idea sharing Skills & Experience You'll need to demonstrate: • Experience of working within the Legal space • Experience in identifying and introducing process innovations • Making timely decisions regarding process and communicating effectively to ensure relevant internal parties receive support/updates • Strong recruitment (and sourcing) experience within a busy and challenging environment • Ability to inspire and motivate a team • Capable of providing constructive feedback Other Why AMS?
