Job Description
Position: Welder/Fabricator
Location: Liverpool (Workshop Based)
Hours: Full Time - 40 hours per week + Regular OT
Pay: Competitive rate of pay (DOE)
The Role
Time Recruitment are currently working with a well-established and growing engineering company based in Liverpool. Due to continued growth and expansion, they are looking to recruit an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join their workshop team.
This role would suit a skilled individual who takes pride in their workmanship, can accurately read fabrication drawings, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment producing structural steelwork and bespoke fabrications.
Key Responsibilities
* Welding and fabricating structural steel and bespoke components
* Working from fabrication and engineering drawings
* MIG, ARC and TIG welding to a high standard
* Cutting, grinding, and preparation of materials
* Ensuring work meets quality, safety, and specification requirements
* Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment
* Working as part of a close-knit team to meet production deadlines
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience as a Welder / Fabricator
* Competent in MIG welding (essential)
* Experience in ARC and TIG welding
* Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings
* Experience with structural steelwork and bespoke fabrication
* Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Desirable (but not essential)
* Relevant welding or fabrication qualifications
* Experience in a workshop-based manufacturing environment
* Flexibility to work overtime when required
