Qualified Nursery Practitioner – Colchester
Full-Time | Level 2 & Level 3 Childcare Practitioners
Pay: From £13.69 per hour

This position is full‑time and guaranteed weekly work through TeacherActive. The successful candidate will work across all rooms, so confidence, flexibility, and strong childcare knowledge are essential.
Although this is an immediate start, candidates with notice periods are encouraged to apply – interviews can be arranged in advance with the nursery.
The nursery provides a warm, child‑centred environment with a strong focus on play‑based learning, outdoor exploration, and supporting each child’s individual development. Staff enjoy supportive leadership, opportunities for progression, and a close‑knit, experienced team.

Requirements
* A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education / Childcare (or equivalent)
* Proven experience working with children aged 0–5 in a nursery or early years setting
* A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures
* The ability to plan and deliver engaging activities that promote learning and development
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a small, dedicated team
* A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with children
* An up‑to‑date DBS (or willingness to obtain one through TeacherActive)
