Role Description
This is a full-time, remote role for a Joiner. The Joiner will be responsible for executing joinery projects, achieving detailed and precise finishes, and collaborating with other trades such as electrical and plumbing. Daily tasks include measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and wood-like materials, installing fixtures and fittings, and ensuring all work complies with safety standards and specifications. The Joiner will also be involved in refurbishment and redecoration projects to enhance and renovate interior spaces.
Responsibilities
* Execute joinery projects with detailed and precise finishes.
* Collaborate with electrical and plumbing trades to coordinate work.
* Measure, cut, and assemble wood and wood-like materials.
* Install fixtures and fittings as required.
* Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and specifications.
* Contribute to refurbishment and redecoration projects to renovate interior spaces.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in joinery techniques, including measuring, cutting, and assembling
* Experience with installation of fixtures and fittings
* Knowledge of safety standards and compliance regulations
* Ability to collaborate with electrical and plumbing trades
* Strong attention to detail and precision in work
* Efficient time management and organizational skills
* Excellent problem-solving abilities
* Relevant certification or diploma in carpentry or joinery is a plus
* Previous experience in refurbishment or construction projects is highly beneficial
