Are you passionate about leading high-performing teams and driving process improvements? We’re looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join our client’s dynamic finance function. Duties will include:
1. Lead and inspire a talented AP team, fostering growth and professional development.
2. Set clear objectives, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback to ensure success.
3. Oversee the full accounts payable cycle – from invoice processing to payment and supplier reconciliation.
4. Build strong relationships with vendors and internal teams, resolving queries and ensuring smooth operations.
5. Drive process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
6. Ensurepliance withpany policies and regulatory standards through robust controls and audits.
7. Collaborate with tech and change teams to optimise systems and support upgrades.
8. Prepare and present AP metrics and reports to senior leadership.
What you will need
9. Experience: Significant experience in accounts payable or finance, with at least 2 years leading or supervising a team and driving change initiatives.
10. High-volume expertise: Proven track record managing large-scale AP processes in a fast-paced environment.
11. Customer-focused mindset: Background in service-driven finance functions, working to strict SLAs and delivering exceptional customer experience.
12. Leadership & accountability: Ability to manage team performance, ensure accuracy, and meet deadlines while fostering a culture of collaboration.
13. Change champion: Confident and adaptable in identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing process enhancements.
14. Stakeholder engagement: Skilledmunicator, able to build strong relationships across finance and non-finance teams.
15. Continuous improvement: Experience with process automation tools and driving efficiencies through technology.
