Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences. This role involves managing staff, ensuring high standards of service, and maintaining the overall efficiency of hotel functions. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to our diverse clientele. The successful applicant will play a pivotal role in fostering a welcoming environment that promotes guest satisfaction and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

* Lead and supervise all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
* Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure smooth functioning of the hotel.
* Manage staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and human resources functions.
* Oversee guest services to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and handle any escalated guest concerns promptly.
* Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to maintain quality standards for products and services.
* Monitor financial performance, optimise revenue streams, and control costs effectively.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
* Promote a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, leadership development, and professional growth.
* Organise marketing initiatives to attract new guests and retain existing clientele.

Qualifications

* Proven experience in hotel management or a similar hospitality role; supervising experience is essential.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in managing operations.
* Proficiency in multiple languages or bilingual capabilities are highly advantageous for engaging with diverse guests.
* Knowledge of human resources practices within the hospitality industry.
* Exceptional guest service skills with a focus on delivering memorable experiences.
* Background in hospitality management or related fields is preferred.
* Demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations professionally and efficiently.
