The People & Culture officer is responsible for recruitment, employee engagement, HR documentation, and maintaining compliance with organizational HR standards.
* Create and maintain accessible, up-to-date HR document templates.
* Produce employment contracts and contract variations as authorised.
* Liaise with Payroll, providing accurate instructions and resolving issues.
* Advise managers and team members across the full employee lifecycle in line with policy and employment law.
* Manage and monitor People processes.
* Support end-to-end recruitment including sourcing, screening, interviews, and onboarding.
* Oversee ID verification to ensure right-to-work compliance.
* Support managers in addressing poor performance.
* Prepare People & Culture reports and respond to information requests.
* Ensure workforce data is accurate and up to date.
* Contribute to the development of People & Culture policies.
* Manage and maintain P&C data and filing systems.
* Maintain and update P&C database systems.
* Administer employee opinion surveys.
* Assist with staff housing administration.
* Support delivery of events, including Induction.
* Complete documentation required by regulatory and awarding bodies.
* Ensure GDPR compliance for all candidate, employee, and leaver data.
* Support P&C projects as needed.
* Promote efficient, high-quality service delivery aligned with hotel values.
If you’re our ideal people & Culture officer, you will have;
* A CIPD level 5 certification or above or similar qualification/experience in HR
* Adaptable experience with hotel HR systems
* Strong experience in hospitality HR
