We are looking for an enthusiastic Clinical Support Worker to work in our newly created Enhanced Recovery Unit. You will be patient focused and willing to learn all aspects of inpatient management to support the nursing team to ensure our patients are cared for to a high standard.
Main duties of the job
At the Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, an exciting opportunity has arisen within our Enhanced Recovery Unit for a Band 3 Clinical Support Worker.
This 8 bedded unit will provide an enhanced level of care of post-operative care for Breast Reconstruction, Orthognathic surgery and Major Head and Neck surgery patients.
Training and development is available for the successful applicant and you will ideally be able to demonstrate experience in a care environment with NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent.

The role gives the opportunity to work as part of a dedicated and busy clinical team whilst developing self and others in delivering high standard of clinical care.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Level 3 or Level 3 Diploma (NVQ) in Health care support or able to demonstrate knowledge within this field through significant practical experience
* Care Certificate
* GCSE English and Maths grade 4 or functional skills for English and Maths
Experience
* Experience of team working
* Experience of working in health or social care environment
* Work in an acute hospital setting
