CornwallisAcademy is a ‘Good’ school on the outskirts of Loose, Maidstone with over 1300students on roll aged 11 to 18. Cornwallis’ aim is to provide all students withthe best educational provision.

We are looking to appoint a 3 day per week, working Monday-Wednesdayin our timetable, outstanding Teacher who can inspire and excite students intheir learning of RE.You will be joining a well-resourced department thatis driven in our focus on raising achievement. RE is a popular option at GCSE andPost-16 and the post offers outstanding opportunities for continuous personaland professional development for a highly motivated and ambitious teacher. Thisis an exciting opportunity for an ECT or experienced teacher.
As well as our state-of-the-art facilities, andinnovative digital curriculum, we have an exciting programme of trips, visits,visitors and extra-curricular activities. Cornwallis Academy valuepositive working relationships and seek individuals who will support thisethos. The successful candidate will have:
• Qualified Teacher Status (desirable but not essential)
• Experience of teaching RE
