Our client is an international financial services training provider. Their client base includes some of the world's largest banks, asset managers and insurance companies.
Well established and internationally recognised in their field, they have an opening for an experienced Client Relationship Manager who will both win new business and grow existing business in the UK and Europe.
The role has the following responsibilities:
* Proactively develop client relationships, anticipate and provide solutions to client needs and carry a £600k+ sales quota.
* Execute cross-selling and up-selling techniques to grow opportunity value.
* Meet or exceed agreed performance targets and objectives, particularly those relating to new client acquisition, product sales and client growth targets.
* Own all aspects of sales and account management for allocated markets in the UK and Europe (banking/FS market) including lead generation, follow ups, face-to-face meetings, written proposals & RFPs, and new business pitches.
* Conduct periodic reviews to ensure clients are satisfied with the services provided.
* Achieve targets and KPI's
* Manage and forecast sales pipelines effectively.
* Work with Product to deliver solutions, services and products that are appropriate to client needs and improve client engagement.
* Work in partnership with colleagues across the business to improve connectivity, deliver exceptional standards and quality of service across all interactions with clients or other professionals.
* Work effectively with the broad network of delivery partners.
Requirements:
* Experience in a similar role within the training or eLearning industry.
* Proven ability to identify and meet client needs through a range of products and services.
* A track record of selling effectively to the banking sector with the ability to pitch business proposals and persuade and influence at a senior level.
* Ability to differentiate from the competition through the delivery of a responsive and proactive approach to relationship management.
* Experience of engaging with clients at a strategic and transactional level, using insight to influence outcomes.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to network and build relationships across clients, colleagues, and key stakeholders.
* Work effectively in a fast-paced environment managing workflow across different lines of businesses/departments including accurate proposal documentation, CRM data, information sharing between teams.
* Ability to develop a thorough knowledge of all product areas.
* Ability to work from the London office at least 1 (possibly 2 on occasion) day per week.
