Job Description
We are currently recruiting a Intensive Tenancy Wellbeing Coach to join us on a permanent basis - 22.5hrs per week. Responsible for managing a complex caseload of tenants with diverse care and support needs, aiming to help them sustain their tenancies and enhance their wellbeing. This involves carrying out thorough assessments for both current and prospective tenants, developing personalised, outcome-focused support plans in collaboration with them, and setting clear goals while monitoring progress.
This role is 22.5 hours per week, ideally we would like someone to work Mon, Tues, Wed (fully days) but this can be discussed further at interview.

Duties include:
* Intensively manage a caseload of tenants with multiple care and support needs, working to enable them to sustain their tenancies and improve their overall wellbeing.
* Conduct comprehensive assessments for current and prospective tenants to identify their care and support needs, and develop outcome-focused tenancy intervention plans in partnership with tenants, setting specific goals and tracking progress.
* Identify and link tenants with specialist services to address unmet needs, ensuring they engage with the necessary resources.
* Monitor tenant engagement with support services and safeguard vulnerable tenants from risks such as abuse and neglect.
* Work with local authorities, social care, and health systems to secure appropriate support, and advocate for policy and strategy improvements that enhance support provision within the district.
* Provide comprehensive oversight of tenancy management throughout the duration of the support intervention, ensuring that tenants receive the guidance they need.
* Periodically review intensively managed tenancies with tenants, specialist providers, and Neighbourhood Housing Officers to assess readiness for transition to general tenancy management.
* Work closely with Neighbourhood Housing Officers to effectively manage communities that include intensively managed tenancies, fostering a caring environment for all residents
Requirements
* A strong awareness of the barriers that vulnerable individuals with support needs face in securing housing and sustaining a tenancy, with the ability to navigate and address these challenges effectively.
* Proven experience in tenancy and estate management, including knowledge of standards, best practices, and enforcement procedures.
* Extensive experience managing customers with multiple and complex needs, including those exhibiting challenging behaviours, with a focus on positive outcomes.
* Demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence service provision.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to engage effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and build strong relationships.
* The capacity to prioritise your workload and manage active cases efficiently, even in the face of continuous crisis situations.
* A full driving license and access to a suitable vehicle for work, allowing you to meet the mobility demands of the role.
* Right to work in the UK - Visa Sponsorship is not available.
* An Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check will be required for the successful candidate as part of the pre-employment process - Criminal Conviction Checks
