A co-educational private boarding and day school in Warminster, Wiltshire for pupils aged three to eighteen. The schools consists of a Pre-Prep, prep and senior school. Catering for just under 1000 students with a core offer of Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner with a lot of hospitality. As this is a boarding school, it operates 7 days a week and shift patterns are 5 over 7. your main responsibily wil be supporting the brigade located at Senior School whilst support menu planning and development of the Prep school, Additional benefit at this location is free parking on site. We are looking for a talented Head Chef to join our team at one of our prestigious locations in Warminster. If you are a current Head chef or Sous Chef working with fresh ingredients and in a fast paced environment then please apply today. You will be excited to work with fresh seasonal ingredients & regularly changing bespoke menus. You will be creative and have the opportunity to showcase your skillset. Key responsibilities: To work well in a team, providing breakfast, lunch & hospitality. To produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch and following the companies brand standards Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled. Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed. Excellent customer service skills Great team player You will have the following skills: A genuine interest in food & excellent customer service An all-round team player Innovation and passion for great food An organised person with attention to detail Knowledge / competencies: Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English. Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills. Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment is preferred Why Join Us?
