At least 2 years' experience as a Chef is required specialising in South Asian Street Food. Applicants must have the right attitude, a willingness to learn, and the qualities needed to thrive in this position.

We are looking for individuals who are flexible and available for day and weekend shifts to perform kitchen duties in a team environment.

Opening Times:

Monday - Sunday (Morning & Evening Shifts)

* 09:00 – 16:00
* 16:00 - 01:00

Daily duties:

Food Preparation & Cooking

* Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes consistently.
* Develop and introduce new menu items while maintaining creativity and variety.
* Ensure portion sizes, presentation, and taste meet established standards.

Menu & Product Knowledge

* Stay up to date with seasonal ingredients and food trends.
* Provide input on menu planning, cost control, and ingredient sourcing.
* Answer food-related queries from staff and support front-of-house team when needed.

Kitchen Operations

* Follow kitchen protocols, recipes, and preparation methods.
* Monitor stock levels, rotate inventory, and minimize food waste.
* Assist with ordering, receiving, and properly storing supplies.
* Ensure kitchen equipment is used correctly and report maintenance issues.

Health, Safety & Cleanliness

* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
* Follow food hygiene regulations and workplace safety protocols at all times.
* Carry out regular cleaning schedules and ensure compliance with health inspections.

Teamwork & Leadership

* Work closely with other chefs, kitchen assistants, and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
* Train, supervise, and motivate junior staff.
* Communicate effectively during service to maintain efficiency.

Customer Experience

* Ensure dishes are served to the highest quality standards to enhance customer satisfaction.
* Adapt dishes to meet dietary requirements and special requests where possible.

Experience:

* Kitchen experience: 2 years minimum (required)
