Position: Humanities Teacher
Location: Norton College - Worcester, Worcester WR5 2BA
Salary: £39,519,90 per annum (not pro rata)
Hours: 37.5 Hours per Week, Monday to Friday 08:30 - 16:00
Contract: Permanent, Term Time only

About the role
Are you an experienced English or Humanities Teacher who is passionate about transforming the lives of pupils and young people? As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a committed individual to deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that are tailored to meet the needs of our learners.
You’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive teaching team in a specialist environment, where you’ll help pupils re-engage with education and achieve their full potential—both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across three Humanities disciplines: History, Geography, and Religious Education, tailored to a range of abilities and needs
* Inspire, motivate, and challenge pupils across all year groups to achieve their full potential
* Take full responsibility for the academic progress and outcomes of pupils within your subject areas
* Contribute to the pastoral care of pupils, supporting their spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development
* Maintain high standards of safeguarding by participating in all required training (including Safeguarding and CPI) and being consistently vigilant regarding pupils’ well-being and welfare
* Collaborate with colleagues to support a cohesive, learner-centred approach across the curriculum
* Secondary teaching experience is preferred, particularly within a specialist or alternative provision setting
