We are seeking a confident, enthusiastic, and committed Year 4 Teacher to join a welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Cockfosters, starting ASAP. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the Year 4 curriculum Assess, track, and report on pupil progress effectively Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEN and EAL Promote positive behaviour, independence, and high expectations Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and KS2 colleagues Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding progress and wellbeing Contribute to planning meetings, staff meetings, and whole-school initiatives Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies at all times The Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will: Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) Have recent experience teaching in KS2, ideally Year 4 Be confident delivering the KS2 curriculum Have strong classroom management and organisational skills Be enthusiastic, reflective, and pupil-focused Be a positive team player with excellent communication skills Be committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing The school is located in Cockfosters, with excellent transport links and a supportive local community.
