Business Development Manager – Logistics & Supply Chain Solutions (Aerospace / Industrial Sectors)

We are recruiting a Business Development Manager (UK) for a leading international industrial group providing high-value logistics and supply chain services.
Reporting to the European Business Development Director, you will play a key role in expanding the client portfolio and developing new business opportunities for contract logistics, freight forwarding and supply chain solutions across the UK – mainly within the aerospace, defence and industrial sectors.
🎯 Your main responsibilities
* Identify, qualify and convert new business opportunities in the UK market;
* Develop and grow relationships with key customers (OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, integrators, industrial players);
* Build technical and commercial proposals in collaboration with operations and project teams;
* Lead negotiations through to deal closure, ensuring competitive and sustainable solutions;
* Represent the company at industry events, trade shows and professional networks (Farnborough, DSEI, ADS, MAA, etc.);
* Act as a trusted partner, connecting with decision-makers and building long-term relationships across the UK logistics ecosystem.
* Engage actively in professional communities, understanding clients’ challenges and creating value through a consultative approach.
🧠 About you
* Minimum 10 years’ experience in business development, sales or account management within contract logistics, freight forwarding or industrial supply chain services;
* Strong understanding of the aerospace, defence or manufacturing sectors;
* Proven hunter mindset – proactive, network-oriented and results-driven;
* Comfortable working in international and matrix environments (UK / Europe);
* Experienced in CRM tools (Salesforce or similar) and pipeline management;
* Fluent English required; professional French would be an advantage.

💰 Package & conditions
* Competitive package £90K–£100K + annual bonus up to £15K + company car;
* Remote-based role (UK), with regular travel across the UK and occasional trips in Europe.
