Join the NHS North East London team as a Phlebotomist and help deliver high‑quality blood‑sample collection services across South West Essex. You will work in our community hospital clinics and provide domiciliary visits to house‑bound patients, based at Thurrock CDC.
Responsibilities
* Perform venepuncture and collect blood samples for a range of tests.
* Work closely with experienced phlebotomists and the Phlebotomy Manager to maintain efficient and accurate service delivery.
* Provide compassionate and clear communication with patients, carers and team members.
* Adhere to infection control, data protection and quality assurance standards.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives within the phlebotomy team.
Qualifications
* Valid venepuncture qualification.
* Excellent interpersonal and IT skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
* Flexible, team‑orientated, and able to work under pressure.
* Aiming for a full NHS qualification is an advantage but not mandatory.
