Your Opportunity
As part of our graduate programme, you’ll choose your preferred sector and location, with opportunities across:
* Electricity Energy Networks – Within Our Energy Networks Business
* Nuclear
* Thermal Generation
As part of these teams, you will work closely with our experts to provide high-value technical support through all phases of development.
Responsibilities
* Optioneering and cost-benefit analysis to determine the optimum approach for client challenges.
* Front-End-Engineering-Design (FEED) to progress a concept design to a procurement-ready maturity, including cost estimation.
* Detailed design for construction, developing complex BIM models in cutting-edge software environments.
* Construction and operation monitoring to ensure assets are built and operated to design.
* Interface with various global stakeholders including utilities, transmission network operators, EPC Contractors, OEMs, Investors, Developers, and Government/Regulatory bodies in a fast-paced environment.

During the application, you will select your preferred opportunity based on location and sector. Some opportunities may require eligibility for security clearance; this is indicated in the selection choices. Security clearance is typically for UK nationals or those who have resided in the UK for five years or more.
Locations: Brighton, Croydon, Glasgow, York.
Applications for this role will be reviewed throughout October and November, with successful applicants invited to an interview/assessment centre in December.
Candidate Specification
We’re looking for curious, motivated graduates who want to make a real difference. All opportunities require a relevant bachelor’s degree as a minimum; some opportunities may require a master’s degree as reflected in the application list.
To be eligible, you will have less than 12 months of relevant experience (excluding placements) and have a degree obtained no earlier than 2024, or be expected to achieve one of the following disciplines:
* Electrical Engineering
* Power Systems Engineering

Mott MacDonald Ltd. is not currently offering sponsorship to candidates under the Skilled Worker visa route in the UK due to changes in April 2024.
