About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Plant Fitter to join our Plant and Fleet department, supporting teams across our business with vehicle, plant, and equipment maintenance. The role involves routine maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and ensuring compliance with SHEQ policies, all while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Perform routine maintenance and service repairs on fleet vehicles and equipment.
2. Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults with care and precision.
3. Use PDA devices to log work and keep electronic records accurate.
4. Complete both minor and major repairs, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
5. Maintain clear communication with the workshop team.
6. Follow SHEQ policies and adopt safe working practices.
Qualifications and Skills
* Fully qualified plant technician with NVQ2 or equivalent, or extensive experience on plant equipment.
* Competent in using diagnostic tools and company IT systems.
* Valid driving license is essential.
* Forklift license is preferred; training will be provided if needed.
