Working hours: 38.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday
The shift pattern for this post requires the post holder to be flexible in order to accommodate the requirements of the school.
Salary: £13.60 per hour

Your new role
What you'll do:
* Assist with recruiting, training, and deploying the school’s caretaking staff
* Direct the delivery of the planned preventative maintenance programme on an annual basis
* Monitor plant and equipment
* Supervise and coordinate the caretaking staff daily
* Assist with minor refurbishments, building work, repairs, and replacements
* Maintain the school environment and perimeter, keeping it graffiti and litter-free
* Support the management team in health and safety responsibilities
* Maintain site security and safeguarding with support from the Site Manager
* Manage community use of the school premises and site
* Induct and monitor contractors’ performance
* Manage RFM equipment, materials, and stock
* Identify pupil damage, raise recharges, and order replacements
What you'll need:
* Significant experience in a similar role
* Previous supervisory experience preferred
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Organizational skills and a positive, flexible attitude
* High levels of customer care with a proactive approach
* Technical background preferred
Additional requirements: An Enhanced DBS check with child barred list is required before starting.
