The Role
As a Welding Operative, you will be responsible for producing high-quality precision components using both manual and semi-automatic welding processes. Working to detailed drawings, specifications, and quality standards, you will play a key role in maintaining the company's reputation for accuracy and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate manual and semi-automatic welding equipment
* Work to approved drawings, work instructions, and quality standards
* Visually inspect welds to internal, customer, and international standards
* Complete production and inspection documentation accurately
* Carry out daily machine checks and basic maintenance
* Follow Health & Safety, PPE, and 5S requirements
* Communicate progress and issues effectively within the team
About You
* ARC welding and/or gas welding experience OR manufacturing experience with a desire to learn welding
* Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
* Methodical, reliable, and quality-focused
* Able to work accurately under pressure
* Proactive approach and willingness to learn and develop
Full training, including welding qualifications and assessments, will be provided.
