Senior Business Support Officer
We are working in partnership with a Local Authority in Merseyside who are looking to appoint a Senior Business Support Officer to assist the Adult Transformation Team.
3-6 Month agency contract with a view to being extended on an ongoing basis.
Full time position - 35 hours.
Location – Merseyside, L2.
Rate of Pay - £15.99 per hour (negotiable on experience).
About the Role:
* The role is to ensure both essential statutory services and intervention/improvement requirements.
* Through the overall delivery of strategic direction, delivery, and oversight from Director and Corporate Director level, it enables the continued delivery of essential statutory services.
* There are also numerous other directorate-wide supporting activities that would go unaddressed, i.e., recruitment/agency logging tracking and approval process, as well as corporate spend control monitoring and recording.
* Part of the role will be to act as the Senior Business Support to the Director for Transformation / Service Improvement, supporting the Adult Transformation journey, which is critical to the delivery of the savings target for Adults.
* Without appointing, the Director will essentially have to operate without or with very limited PA or admin support, or we reduce support to other critical activities, meaning Divisional Managers and Directors have to pick up activities, therefore jeopardising delivery of savings target and transformation activity.
