Location: Salford / Speke
Hours: 40 hours per week (some flexibility available)
Your Responsibilities
As a Major Projects Electrical Engineer, you’ll be an integral part of the Mechanical Electrical and Technology team, supporting the electrical design for large, complex construction projects. Your role will ensure sustainable, compliant, and cost-effective design delivery from concept to construction. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:
* Provide high-level technical advice in electrical building services engineering.
* Deliver coordinated design solutions to the end of projects.
* Develop standards and best practices to share with colleagues.
* Propose and develop innovative solutions to enhance the M&E service.
* Maintain effective communication with senior management regarding output, progress, cost, and risks.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you have:
* A degree in Electrical Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering, and membership in CIBSE or IET (Chartered Engineer or working towards becoming chartered).
* Experience demonstrating your capability to fulfill the role’s accountabilities.
* The ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to a wider audience.
* Experience in applying quality procedures and document control in engineering design.
* The ability to meet BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) requirements.
