Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester required in Bristol.
1. Starting salary up to £38,000 per annum pending qualifications/experience.
2. Bonus of up to £2,700 per annum.

4. Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:30pm and 1 in 4 Saturday mornings paid as overtime.
Our client, the largest independent used car dealer group in the South West region, are currently looking to recruit a Vehicle Technician and MOT Tester to join their busy dealership in Bristol.
Working as part of a team and reporting to the Head of Aftersales, as a Vehicle Technician/Tester; you will help our client with all mechanical faults, fixes and diagnostics their customers need to keep them safely on the road.
Responsibilities as a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester will include:
5. Performing diagnostic testing to identify faults.
6. Carrying out servicing and repairs on a variety of car makes and models.
7. Maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
8. MOT testing.
9. Working with Service Advisors to relay information to the customer and get problems resolved.
10. Ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and thoroughly.
11. Ensuring pre-delivery inspections are completed.
12. Following assignments through to completion, meeting deadlines and delivering on promises.
In order to be eligible; you shall need to be qualified to at least an IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, have a class 4/7 MOT Licence and ideally have at least one to two years practical experience as a Vehicle Technician as well as your own set of tools. You will also need to hold a UK Driving Licence with minimal points, be a committed individual and a good team player. You must be able to produce a high quality of work in a busy but professional Workshop environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for you team.
