As the General Manager you will,
Ensure the team is supported and developed to meet the growing demands on the site, and create a high performing culture
Develop and implement strategies to optimise supply chain efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Work with central teams to manage inventory ,and ensure timely delivery of goods to meet customer expectations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align logistics operations with business objectives
Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards within logistics operations.
Embed a CI approach to evaluate opportunities on site (flow / layout, cost benefit of further automation, org structure & resource allocation)Profile
A successful General Manager (GM) should have:
Proven background in supporting high volume logistics operations with a need for compliance and pick accuracy
Proven leadership skills and enable to demonstrate how engagement is built and sustained
A solid understanding of supply chain processes and inventory management
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
