This role As the Domestic Heating Servicing Contracts Manager in the Heating Team, you will lead the delivery of the gas safety and renewable servicing programmes for MTVH properties. You will also be responsible for leading on block and domestic remediation works programmes across our building stock that has been highlighted by Gas Transporters and from within DSEAR reports. You will be responsible for monitoring contract budgets and ensuring services are managed effectively, providing value for money and delivering the agreed services. You will work closely with appointed consultants who will provide support relating to statutory and regulatory compliance and technical expertise. Key Responsibilities Responsibility for contractual budget monitoring, seeking to achieve value for money throughout the life of each contract under management. Ensure contracts are fully compliant with all relevant statutory, regulatory and corporate requirements. Ensure staff performance is formally reviewed in accordance with MTVH policy and that regular one to ones are held with your staff. Ensure payments are made according to the terms of the contract and following MTVH financial regulations. Review quality assurance inspection reports to ensure that servicing works have been undertaken to the required standard and in accordance with the contract specification. Chair and co-ordinate contract management meetings and manage all aspects of the Contract Administration function. Deal with all enquiries and complaints in accordance with the timescales and procedures for such issues. Identify any changes and other improvements to reduce the likelihood of a repeat. Assist with the procurement and commercial evaluation of contracts. Provide feedback on the contract specification, making recommendations on where the standard specification can be improved. Effectively manage the delivery of Gas Safety inspections to meet the requirements of the Gas Safety Regulations managing the workflow across rejections, jeopardy lists and dealing with obstructions with access Effectively manage the renewable heating servicing and repair, and DSEAR inspection programmes, ensuring works are completed to required standard and within timeframe Effectively manage major gas works projects across MTVH stock, liaising with Gas Transporters, independent consultants and contractors to ensure all gas safety works are completed to schedule and standard Work with contractors to meet challenging targets to achieve all aspects of project delivery, including productivity, performance and KPI Challenge poor service in line with KPIs, and to ensure good customer service to front line staff and residents and escalate issues as appropriate Proactively request, collate and analyse information from front line staff, contractors and consultants to assist in the preparation of reports detailing programmes of work and performance (including KPIs). Ensure the data is accurate. What you'll need to succeed Familiarity and knowledge of the regulatory framework governing compliance; repairs; sustainability or planned workstreams that you will be responsible for Ability to run complex programmes and manage significant budgets effectively. Knowledge and experience of contract administration e.g. JCT / NEC / TPC and running multiple projects at once. Excellent negotiating skills and experience of developing and managing sound client relationships. Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Outlook and Excel. Technical competence or training in the workstream/s you will be managing including knowledge of relevant compliance legislation Personal competencies as described in job description Experience of building and maintaining relationships with contractors, stakeholders and customers to continually improve services. Experience managing or involvement procurement processes.
