Zenith People are working with our client, who are recruiting for a Principal Design Engineer with an in depth understanding of MV and HV Cable Design.\n\nThis role is placed in a dedicated Research & Development team with a strong technical focus - the development and maintenance of MV/HV cable products.\n\nJob Purpose\n\nActing as a technical authority and responsible for leading the design, development and maintenance of both MV/HV cable products for offshore wind and power cable elements within hybrid power umbilical system, in-line with company’s New Product Development and Product Life Maintenance procedures. Responsible for the technical deliverables for R&D projects and providing technical support and guidance across the R&D function and to other teams, where appropriate. Responsible for setting and maintaining design rules, technical standards and associated documentation requirements.
