Responsibilities:
1. Be a champion of brand standards
2. Prepare everything needed before a busy shift
3. Cook to specification and work with recipes
No previous experience is required; we can teach you everything! If you're eager to learn and proud to work with us, we will show you what it takes to become a vital team member in any kitchen.
Role Details:
You will take on a full-time role in the kitchen under the supervision of passionate chefs, alongside your training. You will gain a Level 2 Production Chef Apprenticeship and support the running of our kitchens, creating memorable moments and ensuring quality for our guests!
What your apprenticeship includes:
1. Face-to-face and Skype/phone catch-ups every 4-6 weeks
2. On and off-the-job training, including workshops and webinars
3. Reviews every 12 weeks with the Apprentice, Line Manager, and Trainer
4. Feedback sessions to discuss progress
5. Functional Skills in English and Maths (if you don't already have GCSEs or equivalents)
6. 30 hours paid work per week

Wage:
£8.60 per hour for 16-20-year-olds
£11.44 per hour for 21+ year-olds
Duration:
15 months towards a Level 2 Production Chef Apprenticeship standard at Mitchells and Butlers.
