We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and energetic teacher leader to join our ‘world class school’.
Albany Academy is a highly successful and popular 11-16 school situated in Chorley, Lancashire. With 740 pupils currently on roll, the school provides an excellent education within a nurturing and caring environment where every student is well known by every member of staff.
The governors are looking to appoint an experienced and successful teacher to lead our Technologies Faculty.
The successful candidate will be a successful teacher in one of the following subjects:
* Computer Science
* Design Technology
* Graphics
* Food & Nutrition
* Textiles
They will lead a team of experts and will help develop colleagues, the curriculum and the quality of teaching.

Essential Qualifications
* To be a qualified teacher.
* NPQLT or NPQLTD.
* Basic coaching.
Desirable Qualifications
* HPL PGCert.
* SSAT Middle Leadership.
Essential Experience
* Experience of teaching at GCSE.
* To have significant recent line management and leadership responsibility.
Desirable Experience
* Experience of having led a successful whole school initiative.
* Experience of managing a budget.
