Rutherford Cross is delighted to be partnering with an attractive Glasgow based organisation to appoint a Finance Analyst (12-month FTC) with potential to extend or become permanent. Reporting to the Head of Management Accounts, you will be responsible for: Supporting the Senior Finance Analyst and Head of Management Accounts in coordinating month-end activities and reporting across the organisation Consolidate, review, and challenge monthly results and forecasts; prepare reporting packs for senior leadership Drive improvements in financial reporting processes, including salary forecasting, project reporting, and budgeting activities Consolidate and analyse budget inputs against historical data and strategic objectives; summarise key insights for senior stakeholders Lead preparation of statutory and sector-specific financial returns (e.g. regulatory, compliance, and funding reports) in collaboration with other departments Respond to internal and external financial information requests accurately and in accordance with service standards and regulatory requirements Enhance the efficiency of the Management Accounting function by streamlining processes and optimising support provided to operational finance teams The Ideal Candidate: Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant Available within 4 weeks’ notice Detailed operational knowledge of business processes, management information systems and value drivers of management accounting Good Excel and systems knowledge On Offer: Salary: £40,000 - £49,500 p.a.
