IT Project Manager - Unified Comms / Telephony / Microsoft 365 / SharePoint / Teams / Power Automate/Apps
Purpose of job
Be responsible for delivering projects related to the IT Technical Plan and Change Programme that improve service delivery to customers and empower staff to perform at their best.
Responsibilities
* Deliver new technologies, integrations, and data capabilities on scope, time, and budget that address business challenges and are embedded in operations.
* Lead resolution and prevention of issues affecting business performance while maintaining confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.
* Define and manage projects delivering new or upgraded technology, integrations, and data capabilities within scope, quality, timetable, and budget.
* Build relationships with stakeholders to facilitate successful project delivery.
* Create and maintain detailed project documentation including charters, business cases, roadmaps, plans, logs, reports, and lessons learned.
* Manage scope, quality, schedule, costs, risks, dependencies, and configurations with appropriate controls and escalations.
* Manage third-party suppliers and dependencies effectively.
* Track project deliverables, implement KPIs, and develop contingency plans.
* Monitor progress and produce timely reports.
* Define project tasks and resource requirements, coordinating staff to ensure resource adequacy.
* Enhance data confidentiality, integrity, accuracy, and availability.
* Stay updated on project management best practices and IT trends, sharing knowledge with the team.

Expertise
* Experience leading projects to deliver new technology and data capabilities.
* Experience in business analysis, configuration, testing, training, and service improvements.
* Knowledge of project management methodologies and organizational tailoring.
* Ability to embed new systems and workflows.
* Experience engaging with business and third-party suppliers.
* Knowledge of project management tools and modern productivity solutions.
* Knowledge of systems integration, Web Services, APIs, and current IT trends.
* Ability to deliver results on scope, time, and budget.
* Constructive challenge and stakeholder influence skills.
* Understanding of compliance, licensing, data protection, and security regulations.
* Strong relationship-building skills.
* Self-development and team learning support.
* Excellent communication skills across various media.
Qualifications and Skills
* IT qualification or relevant experience.
* Prince 2/Agile Foundation Level.
* Desirable: Prince 2/Agile Practitioner, experience with Housing Management Systems (e.g., Civica Cx), Microsoft 365.
Salary: £50,000 + benefits
Location: Sevenoaks (Kent), 1-2 days/week on-site, rest remote.
