Job Description

Financial Accountant | 6 Month FTC | £70,000 - £75,000 (pro rata)

London | Hybrid: 4 days in the office

Must be available to start within the next 4 weeks.

A leading real estate group is looking for a qualified accountant to join their corporate finance team on a 6 month contract.

You'll get stuck into statutory accounts, audit queries, quarterly close and balance sheet reconciliations, plus exposure to live transactions like disposals and acquisitions. It's a hands-on role with real variety, not just box ticking.

What you'll be doing:

• Preparing and reviewing FRS 102 statutory accounts
• Liaising with auditors and resolving queries
• Quarterly close work, including journals, balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany billings
• Working with Commercial Finance to explain variances against budget
• Supporting transactions including disposals, acquisitions and group restructurings
• Preparing accounting papers and quarterly/half-year reports

What you'll need:

• ACA or ACCA qualified
• Solid hands-on experience preparing financial accounts
• Strong knowledge of FRS 102 and Companies Act requirements
• Advanced Excel skills
• Yardi or Caseware experience is a bonus, not essential
