Senior Residential Support Worker:
£14.50 per hour (£30,160 per annum) + Sleep-ins (£60 per night, approx. £7,200 per year)
Deputy Manager:
£15.70 per hour (£32,656 per annum) + Sleep-ins (£60 per night, approx. £7,200 per year)
About the Role
We are seeking experienced and motivated Senior Residential Support Workers and Deputy Managers to join our client's residential care team supporting young people. These roles are ideal for individuals looking to progress their careers while making a meaningful impact in a supportive and structured environment.
Core Responsibilities (All Roles)
Complete full induction and learn internal systems
Attend fortnightly supervision sessions and staff meetings
Complete all phases of online and face-to-face training
Maintain accurate daily recording, reporting, and documentation
Complete home and young person (YP) paperwork
Contribute to Risk Assessments (RA), care plans, and document checks
Undertake or work towards QCF Level 4
Support colleagues and act as a positive role model for staff and young peopleSenior Residential Support Worker Responsibilities
Complete weekly checks and ensure compliance within the home
Support Managers, Deputies, and wider team members
Lead shifts on a regular basis
Provide support across other homes where required as a shift leaderDeputy Manager Responsibilities
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in residential childcare
Lead and manage shifts, including staffing and young people’s behaviours
Supervise and support staff performance and development
Carry out inductions for new team members
Complete management tasks as delegated by the Registered Manager (RM)
Act as designated person in charge in the absence of the RM
Support with inspections, including Ofsted and external visits
Oversee compliance tasks such as Reg 44 visits and reportingWhat We’re Looking For
