Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Air Traffic Controller located in the South East/ East Anglia region. The Air Traffic Controller is responsible for monitoring and directing aircraft movements to ensure safe distances between aircraft. Duties include managing the flow of aircraft into and out of airports, issuing landing and takeoff instructions, coordinating with ground control and other agencies, and utilizing radar display and radio communication to maintain safety and efficiency in the airspace.
Qualifications
* Proficiency Air Traffic Control
* Familiarity with airspace regulations and radar operations
* Strong Supervisory Skills
* Excellent communication abilities and attention to detail
* Ability to work in high-stress environments and make quick, informed decisions
* Relevant certifications or licensure in air traffic control
* Experience in the aviation industry
* Hold a UK CAA Air Traffic Controller's license with ADI rating and ideally APS rating
* Hold (or obtain) a UK Class 3 medical certificate
* ATCO Level 6 English language proficiency
Desirable:
* APP rating
* Met Observers Qualification
* To have validated ATCO Class G Airspace experience
