We are looking for a highly skilled Metallic Machinist to join our team in Silverstone. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines, producing high-precision components that meet exacting specifications for motorsport applications. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work and contribute to a culture of excellence within the machine shop.
* Set up, and operate 5 Axis CNC machines to produce precision metallic parts.
* Conduct basic inspections on completed work to ensure it meets quality standards.
* Collaborate with engineers and other machinists to improve manufacturing processes.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
* Document production data and maintain accurate records of work done.
* Assist in the training and mentorship of new machinists.

What do you need to bring to the team?
* Proven experience as a 5 Axis Machinist, preferably in a motorsport or precision engineering environment.
* Strong knowledge of 5 Axis CNC machining techniques, tools, and processes.
* Experience with Heidenhain.
* Familiarity with CAD/CAM software, HyperMill would be an advantage.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
* Familiarity with tooling selection and machine maintenance.
* Ability to manage time effectively and meet production deadlines.
* Flexible approach and a can-do attitude.
* Commitment to health and safety standards in the workplace.
