The successful candidate will lead business development activities, drive sales, and play a key role in generating new business. They will also manage marketing and customer service activities.
Responsibilities:
* Prospect and leverage potential new business opportunities within the UK market, targeting new and existing customers.
* Develop business and regulatory plans for the UK market and achieve operational objectives.
* Identify opportunities from marketing leads, communicate with, and manage local business partners.
* Understand market information and report to headquarters promptly.
* Collaborate with other departments to establish operational processes for the UK market.
* Enhance brand awareness of the company and its products in the UK.
* Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing inquiries.
Qualifications/Skills:
* At least 2 years of experience in business development or sales in molecular pathology or IVD related markets.
* BSc or MSc in Life & Science, Molecular Pathology, Clinical Medicine; MBA or PhD is a plus.
* Good knowledge of the local molecular pathology market; international and multicultural experience preferred.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Strategic and creative thinking with meticulous operational execution.
* Energetic with strong motivation to find new business opportunities quickly.
* Familiarity with selling imported products in Europe.
* Fluent in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
