Job Title: Financial Accountant Location: Camberley Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 About the Role We are seeking an experienced and proactive Capex & Fleet Accounting Manager to join our Group Finance team. This is a critical role responsible for managing capital expenditure (capex) processes across the Group, with a strong focus on fleet accounting. You’ll ensure accurate and timely financial transactions, uphold robust internal controls, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency within capex and fleet accounting operations. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage end-to-end capex processes for the Group. Oversee fleet accounting, ensuring compliance with internal policies and accounting standards. Ensure timely and accurate processing of all capex and fleet-related financial transactions. Develop and implement robust financial controls and governance frameworks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, operations, and finance. Provide insightful reporting and analysis to support decision-making. Drive continuous improvement and standardisation of processes and systems. Support the annual budget, forecasting, and strategic planning processes related to capex and fleet. About You Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). IFRS16 knowledge Strong experience in capital expenditure and/or fixed asset accounting. Experience in fleet accounting is highly desirable. Excellent understanding of financial controls and regulatory compliance. Proven ability to drive process improvements and lead change. Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
