Roles & Responsibilities Project Engineer Project Engineers take responsibility for specific work packages (DWPs, Vendor Design, Sub‑Contractor Design) and contribute to the design, coordination, assurance, procurement interface, and on‑site delivery of their assigned scope of work. Assurance Single point of responsibility for review of documents submitted within an assigned package. Ensure design reviews consider, as a minimum: Compliance with project technical requirements and NG/SPEN standards Buildability, maintainability, and operability Identification and mitigation of safety hazards as far as reasonably practicable Demonstrable coordination of all interfaces Adequate identification of temporary works requirements Identify the need for input from other disciplines/functions and coordinate their involvement in reviews. With support from Project Controls, track client reviews and coordinate timely close‑out of review comments with the relevant designers. Manage all client review comments to resolution. Liaise, via the Engineering Manager, with the Client Design Assurance Engineer to resolve technical issues. Attend relevant SR188 and Design Review Meetings with the client.
