We are looking for an exceptional person to join The Gannochy Trust, a registered charity well known for itsphilanthropy and unique housing provision. Highly motivated, with excellent administrative and organisationalskills, you will be committed to the values and broader aims of the Trust, and making a difference to people’slives.
The Gannochy Trust was founded in 1937 by A K Bell. Our work today has been developed to support the full realisationof our founder’s visionary philanthropy. We provide affordable housing, manage a range of farms, woodlands andbuildings and as an independent funder, manage a grant giving programme of around £5 million annually. The workof the Trust is both varied and interesting.
For this role, you will need to have substantial administrative experience and be willing to work flexibly as part ofa team. You will lead the administration team in providing high quality administration support to the Board ofTrustees, Chief Executive and Senior Management Team. An important part of the role is to support the efficientmanagement of the Trust. This ranges from record management to contributing to projects, and making improvementsto administration systems.

Stirling Council Advice Services is an accredited provider of welfare benefits, money and debt advice under theScottish National Standards for Advice and Information Providers. The service is also one of the key providersof digital inclusion advice and support in the Stirling area.
We are currently recruiting for 1 full-time (35 hours) and 1 part-time (17.5 hours) Income Maximisation and BudgetingAdviser to work alongside our existing GP Outreach Adviser and the wider Advice Team. The Advisers will be basedin GP Practices across the Stirling area and will provide advice and support to Stirling residents by:completing benefit checks for clients; supporting clients to fully maximise their income, through applying forwelfare benefits and charitable grants; and providing advice on managing household budgets.
These posts are currently funded for 1 year and will report to the Senior Money, Debt & Benefit Adviser.

• Advice Stirling: Provides Money, Debt & Benefit advice and advocacy to Stirling citizens through a number ofdifferent projects.
• Forth Valley Macmillan Money Matters: This initiative focuses on income maximisation for individuals diagnosed withcancer and their families/carers.
Additionally, the team is a key local provider of digital inclusion services, aimed at enhancing people's digitalskills.
The New Scots in Stirling Project was established in January 2021 and is a collaboration between Advice Services, theResettlement Team and the Learning and Employability Team. The project is designed to support the increasingnumber of refugees in Stirling; and we strive to create an inclusive, welcoming community where everyone has theopportunity to achieve financial stability and independence.
This project consists of the following support:
• Resettlement Team: Provides support and guidance on settling in Stirling,
• Learning and Employability: Assists individuals with learning opportunities such as ESOL (English for Speakers ofOther Languages) and helps identify employment opportunities.
• Advice Stirling: Assists individuals with income maximisation, welfare rights advice, budgeting support, guidanceon the UK benefit system and debt advice.
• Digital Inclusion Programme: Helps individuals improve their digital skills and supports the introduction ofdigital services like E-visas and Universal Credit.
We are now expanding the project and are seeking 2 dedicated and resourceful Income Maximisation and BudgetingAdvisers and an additional Digital Inclusion Worker to join our team.
The Income Maximisation and Budgeting Advisers will support the growing number of refugees in Stirling, by helpingthem to access their entitlement to welfare benefits and increasing their knowledge of the benefit system in theUK. You will provide advice on income maximisation and budgeting to individuals who are new to Scotland andassist them in navigating the complexities of the welfare system. In addition to refugees, you will also besupporting residents that are subject to immigration control that are new to Scotland. You will be required toutilise interpretation services regularly in person and via telephone.
