Maths and English Tutor – part‑time, contract (East Midlands) – £20–22 per hour.
TeacherActive is working with schools and alternative provisions across Nottingham, providing targeted academic support to students who require additional help in Maths and English. These settings focus on improving attainment, building confidence, and supporting students to reach their full potential.
Responsibilities
You will deliver focused intervention sessions, supporting students on a one‑to‑one or small group basis, and helping to raise attainment levels across KS3 and KS4.
Requirements
* At least 6 months experience working within a UK education setting
* Strong subject knowledge in Maths and/or English
* Experience supporting students in a secondary school or tutoring environment
* The ability to plan and deliver targeted intervention sessions
* Strong communication and engagement skills
* A patient and adaptable approach
