ROLE OF THE JOB
This is an exciting time to be joining the Team in Place and Regeneration as the role will be critical to strategic commissioning of cultural events, projects and programmes that will support growing the cultural sector, visitor economy and local economy in Northumberland's towns. The role will align with the ambitions of the refresh of the County's Cultural Strategy, and this will include major projects such as delivery of the new phase of the cultural and placemaking programme for Blyth.
We are looking for a dynamic and knowledgeable manager with relevant experience that can support the development of a large and expanding service. Responsibilities will include leading on strategic commissioning and managing delivery of £m projects and programmes relevant to culture-led regeneration and economic growth.
The role will be based at County Hall in Morpeth and include covering a Countywide remit.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB
* Recent experience working on projects and programmes relevant to culture-led regeneration and economic growth
* Relevant Degree or equivalent
* Valid UK driving licence
